Happy Hemp had her official “Hello Austin” party this past week hosted by Bread and Butter PR. The night was filled with amazing people, great food and plenty of wine for all. With Austin being a city known for great food, I knew my little super food had to knock their socks off!! But what to serve?
My menu goal was freshness and versatility. Showcasing how simple it was to eat hemp as not only a main course, but also as a dessert.
The night started with Happy Hummus and a new creation Happy Tabbouleh.
Next I did a spin on the Happy Farmers’ Market Salad I took out the basil and added garbanzo beans for texture.
The main course was a Happy Nut Free Pesto Pasta with fresh sunburst yellow tomatoes. This dish is not only yummy but what a feast for the eyes!!
No dinner is complete with out dessert. I am a fan of the classics. A simple Happy Chocolate Chip Cookie was
just the perfect amount of wrong to make the night just right.
The night was a success!
