Ingredients: 1 head cauliflower 1/4 cup evoo 1/4 cup Happy Hemp seeds, raw sea salt and black pepper to taste Direction: Slice cauliflower 1-inch thick, cutting […]

Jessica offered up the apple she bought for lunch and we were on our way to what became a slaw masterpiece. With a dash of this and a pinch of that from the pantry, the most amazing recipe came to life! I have to say, we are […]

Traditionally a lassi is consumed before a meal of Indian food, because it coats the stomach and soothes the effects that might arise from eating spicy food. The secret ingredient is kefir. Kefir is a wonderful source of probiotics–the organisms that protect […]

If we were to vote on an official representative of summer, I think watermelon should be elected. Eating a wedge of sweet juicy sunshine immediately takes me back to being a kid— living in my swimsuit all day, barefoot at the lake, fingers sticky and knees bruised. This recipe gives the youthful treat a fun grown up dress. Ingredients: 2 cups chopped cucumbers 2 ½ cups cubed watermelon 2 tablespoons fresh mint 2 tablespoons Happy Hemp seeds, raw 1 small […]
Kitchen mistakes are not always a bad thing. The end goal of this recipe was a gluten free power bar…fail! All that I ended up with were crumbles, but those crumbles were amazing. So now I have a new granola recipe to snack on while I go back to the drawing board on the bar! Cheers to making happy mistakes. 1/3 C. local honey ½ T. vanilla extract 1 ½ T. coconut oil 1/8 t. sea salt ¾ C. toasted […]
